I've been procrastinating writing this blog post, not because I don't want to but because I have no idea what I want to articulate about this show. If you know me at all you know that I have a handful of artists that I worship, and Hoodie Allen and Blackbear are definitely in that list. This past wednesday I was given the opportunity (thanks to innocent words) to not only attend my second Hoodie show but shoot from the photo pit.
So on Wednesday morning my dad and I began our trek to St. Louis during one of the worst Blizzards in the Midwest this year. And even though we drove through white out conditions and were "love tapped" by a semi truck, we still made it to the venue in one piece (our car not so much).
There was some opening act that was from St. Louis that I missed. But after him Blackbear took the stage. And I completely forgot how to use my camera because holy shit Blackbear's 2 feet away from my camera. At one point he even reached out to his fans and I reached up and grabbed his hand because I have no restraint when it comes to fangirling (he thought it was funny though so it's ok).
Next was Kyle and his sidekick Brick. Honestly I don't really know anything by Kyle but, he has a few hits with R&B artist, Kehlani, and they are fantastic. I had no idea what to expect but their energy was unreal which resulted in some pretty sick shots.
After Kyle was Hoodie and I'll just let the shots speak for themselves
